The Mountie Sheepskin Hats Made in the USA

Q: My son and husband bought this hat in grey when he was about 8 years old so I have hat my hat for 22 years. They found it at the Boulder Arts and Crafts Store, in Boulder, CO. It still looks new and I have worn it every year. It is my favorite hat. It is grey with a turquo stripe on top. You now have a fuzzy strap on the current ones, mine is just a suede strap. Is there any chance that a new strap could be added? I know a long shot, but cannot hurt to ask. I will be ordering a hat for my daughter-in-law later today for Christmas. Thank you, Denise

Q: I have purchased sheepskin hats before and they always were too small - even when I ordered XXL. I had an XL LLBean one years ago (left unguarded in reach of a puppy) ---That one was correct in sizing. How accurate is the sizing for yours? Thanks -Almus Kenter

Good morning! I received your order for an XL over the weekend and have it ready to ship today. Our XL is a true XL and goes to at least 24 inches circumference. No Chinese sizing here!! Thank you!

The Mountie Sheepskin hat is not waterproofed directly from us, but can be by using any waterproofer designed for use with leather, such as a silicone spray or mink oil. Getting the hat wet will not ruin it. Just form and air dry.
