I'll start off by saying I've been looking for an excellent pair of slippers for years. I have used LL Bean's Wicked Good slippers for many years, but the quality on those is iffy. The last pair I purchased literally fell apart after 6 months, and I vowed to never get them again. So I searched online for slippers that were made in the USA, because I want high quality. Sundance Leather came up, and I saw these slippers, and decided to try them. They are a bit more expensive than what I've purchased before, but if they last longer, they're worth it, right?
Well. The package came in the mail and it felt like Christmas! I was a little giddy. I put on my new slippers... and they were a touch tight. Thankfully, I read the information provided with the slippers, and figured they would stretch. In the meantime, they are gorgeous! I got the wine and denim color, and I love them. The sheepskin is real, and thick! So I decided to keep them and see what happened. That was the first day.
By the next day, I pretty much decided I never wanted to take these off. I put them on first thing in the morning, and reluctantly take them off to go to work, and put them on again first thing when I get home! They keep my feet very comfortable. It's not been super cold here in upstate NY yet, but even on the warmer days my feet are comfortable. In the cold, these slippers will be the cosiest ever! I can tell now that I've never worn a high quality pair of sheepskin slippers before. I'll never go back!
I also have to exclaim about the fact that I've been wearing these slippers daily, for hours a day for a month and they barely show it. I am not careful of my slippers, either, wearing them outside if necessary. But the leather is still buttery soft on the outside and the fleece on the inside barely looks worn.
I am still so excited about my new slippers, and I expect to have them for years to come! I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a high quality slipper that will last for years and look great the whole time.
