One hat to rule them all
I am on my second deerskin hat, purchased in 1998 to replace one I got as a kid in the late 1980s and lost. I have owned many hats over the years, but this is the only one I expect one of my kids will have to do something with when I croak. It keeps getting better as the hair under it gets grayer.

I purchased the deerskin hat in October 2002 at the Albuquerque Balloon festival. I'm a motorcyclist and the hat goes well with a leather vest. It has traveled tens of thousands of miles with me, on and off the bike. It is great in the bright sunlight and Texas heat. One would think that a black leather hat would be hot in the summer, but it isn't. It folds nicely in a vest pocket, or back part of the pants when not being worn. After nearly 19 years of use, it had to be repaired and is still useable.... but, it will be delegated to the position of 'hat #2' when my new one arrives! A great American product! BTW, the sewn in tag made it possible to track down the company and reorder.... no way I would have remembered who I bought it from.... 19 years ago!

Great hat
Great Hat. Light weight for leather. Very comfortable. Has two different looks. The way pictured above or Pull the top part of the hat forward for a lower profile and different look. I would recommend this product to anyone who likes to wear hats..

My favorite
I''ve owned two of these hats: one was the first thing I bought with my own money, when I was a little kid. I held on to that one until I was in my mid twenties, when it was stolen. I anticipate that I''ll own - and wear regularly - its replacement until somebody puts me in a box.

The leather hats are one size with an adjuster at the back. Yes, the 6 panel can be worn pushed forward for a flat look, or pushed back for some loft.
