I don't want to take them off
For several years, I’ve worn wool-blend slipper socks, with thin leather soles. They’re fine for spring and fall, but they just don’t cut it in the winter. That’s when you realize knit fabric is just holes held together with yarn, and the cold air gets through. I also wanted slippers that covered my ankles. I found several nice sheepskin slippers, but these are the only ones I found with a high top. They are warm, yet surprisingly breathable, without being drafty. Within two days, the soft sheepskin had conformed to the shape of my feet, like they were custom-fitted. The bull-hide outer sole is perfect for short trips outside, walking on the flagstone and concrete around our yard. That’s hard on the soles of the slipper socks. I think these sheepskin slippers will outlast any other indoor footwear I’ve ever owned. They feel so good I don’t want to take them off.
